In regard to the last video, we are faced with appears to be a Sucker's Choice, and it's a hell of a conundrum. It's Buy or Die and Buy and Die. Of course, it's not really a choice, but rather a dilemma. We're caught between Scylla and Charybdis, or the Devil and The Deep Blue Sea....which isn't so Blue anymore.
Oh, and in regard to the guy with shorts lodged up his butt crack in your last post, here's some more Carlin, in case anyone hasn't seen/heard this one.

Here's Steve Goodman reminding us 30 years ago that
The 20th Century is Almost Over
(Time to figure out some new ways of doing things, right?)

I find it encouraging that there are people actually talking, seriously, as though they believe there's a problem now. And there are people who are listening.
What I find discouraging is the thought of all those other people, the ones who are totally oblivious to the fact that there is a problem at all. Most are not listening; and those who do hear, don't want to.
Is it already too late?
I think it's pretty close to too late to avert a mass extinction. But even if what we are fighting for is to buy time, by clearing up pollution and slowing climate change, every minute is precious so it's worth it.
